This is a replacement for a device that is still working but some of the plastic parts are broken and with the credit it was cheaper for me to purchase a whole new one. My base that I bought in 2011 is still working perfectly.  Are use this device several times a week every week and it still going strong.

Can't live without this

The parts fit well together;  they are well made and not flimsy.  The large cup size is nice, because it holds a lot.  I was able to make a marinade for 4 pork tenderloins!  We own many Cuisinart products, and we have been happy with all of them.  That is why we decided to purchase this food processor.

i thought i needed a mini chopper but did not like that they only have the chopping blade and no other options.... i have the classic 14c processor sooo i really did not think i needed a 9c too but after trying it and hearing the purr of the 600w motor i was  wrong.... this is exactly what i need.... high powered.. fast.. chop anything and everything quickly.. i love it andddddd. it is so easy to take apart and put together... i have issues with my hands... they are not strong anymore and i have very dry cracked skin which makes it hard for me to turn the handle on my 14c processor but i can do it on this one.... it is a great machine and easier to pull out when i am not feeding the whole gang...

i was wrong...

This is the third food processor I have owned in my life, and it is the best I've had.  I replaced a Kitchen Aid model with this one because the Kitchen Aid one never worked properly.   I love this one.   Does everything I need and cleans up easily.

Very Good Product

I was in the market for a food processor, so i did a lot of research online.  I finally concluded  which brand, style, and power level that I wanted.  I read the reviews for Cuisinart & decided that this was the one for me.  It is powerful & quiet.  Love it.

I'm in Love

This is the best food processor we've ever owned.  The motor is really powerful and quiet.  Food is chopped or grated very quickly.  It's also very easy to clean as everything that touches food can just be popped into the dishwasher.  My only "negative" comment is that it's difficult to find accessories for this model as it's older.  None of the discs that are available show compatibility with this model.  You need to get the right part numbers and they usually show 7-cup and 11-cup in the description. (Same with the disc/blade case.)

Great, powerful, quiet food processor!

I had the same processor 30 years ago, maybe more! It had broken but was still useable, sort of. I finally decided it was time for a new one. I bought the new version and love it too. The parts are not quite as sturdy as my original but does the job. The best part is my old blade fits this new one so i use the old heavier blade. 
If you need a processor for home use,this is the one. 
I would have given this Product 5 stars if it was the same heavier quality as my original

Good as ever

Love my 9 Cup cusinart; I had mistakenly purchased a lesser model and was very dissatisfied with it.  This one is terrific....except it requires an unusual amount of effort to engage the bowl.

Love my Cuisinart

We spent a lot of time looking at food processors (having resisted buying one for decades), but really needed one now that we were making more soups and sauces.  Result after a month of use is that we think we made the right choice!!   Perfect size for small family preparations.

Two odd bits - the annoying one is that if you are making a soup or other liquid that rises above the level of the rotating blade you will wind up with some leakage around the blades spindle and on to the base.  The other is that the spatula is totally inflexible, and largely useless.

None the less, we would definitely buy this model again.

Pretty good (but not perfect) processor

I liked the general design, but was concerned about a loud clunking noise when turned on and off which suggested to me a probable serious issue in the near future.   Sadly, I had to return it.
